Canadian PM to call election

Canada's prime minister will dissolve Parliament on Sunday and call an early election, it has been reported.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper's spokesman said the premier would kick off an election campaign this weekend, with polling day set for October 14.
Mr Harper's Conservatives need 28 seats to form a majority government in Parliament.
