An anti-government protester has been killed and at least 22 others wounded by an explosion at the Don Mueang Airport in Thailand's capital, Bangkok.

A grenade was reportedly thrown at supporters of the People's Alliance For Democracy, who are occupying the main Thai airport.

More than 300,000 travellers are stranded in Thailand, trapped in the siege of Bangkok's two airports by anti-government demonstrators. All commercial flights in and out of the capital have been halted.
